Glass is hand-scrubbed and squeegeed, or cleaned with our pure-water system when appropriate. We work until the glass is clean, clear, and streak-free.
Frames
Frames are wiped down using our cleaning rags, whether they’re vinyl, painted wood, or aluminum. We remove the grime, dust, pollen, and buildup that can leave a dirty line around an otherwise clean pane.
Sills
Sills are detailed and dried as part of every visit. Dust, pollen, dead bugs, salt residue, and other buildup are removed instead of being left behind for the homeowner to find later.
For higher panes and difficult-to-reach exterior glass, Coastal Cleaners uses a deionized water window cleaning system.
Water is purified to remove the minerals normally found in tap water. That purified water can be delivered through a water-fed pole system, allowing us to clean and rinse elevated exterior glass without relying on ladders for every pane.
The result is a spot-free rinse without the mineral residue that ordinary water can leave behind.

Deionized water window cleaning uses highly purified water with the minerals removed. Coastal Cleaners uses this water with a water-fed pole system for appropriate exterior and higher windows. Because the water has been purified, it can rinse the glass without leaving the mineral spots that ordinary tap water can leave behind.
Do you clean the window frames and sills too?
Yes. Our standard window cleaning service includes the glass, frames, and sills on every visit. We believe cleaning only the glass leaves too much of the window unfinished, which is why our 3-in-1 process is part of the service rather than an extra charge.
